Splash Sebastopol Geese

Splash is a broken pattern rather than a solid colour: irregular patches of colour scattered across a white bird, with no two individuals marked the same way.

Availability. We are not running splash at the moment, so there is nothing to order on this page today. What we do have is lavender, buff, grey and more, all on the geese page. If splash is specifically what you want, say so and we will tell you if it is coming.

The difference between splash and saddleback is regularity. A saddleback's colour sits in a defined place, over the head, neck, back and flanks. A splash's colour lands wherever it lands, which is the appeal: every bird is unmistakably itself.

Splash birds are among the hardest to find in the breed and rarely come up for sale. Anyone advertising them consistently is worth a second look, because genuinely producing them takes a deliberate programme rather than luck.

Other Colours

Compare against Lavender, Buff, Grey, Saddleback, White, or read the full colors guide which covers all of them side by side with a colour chart.

We are not running blue, lilac, splash at the moment. Those pages explain the colours and what we would suggest instead.

Before ordering, the care guide covers what these birds need, shipping explains how they travel, and the FAQ answers cost, noise and temperament. Buying to breed? Read breeding and sexing.
