Shop Sebastopol Geese

Four ways to start, from a mature bird that is ready to go to a box of fertile eggs. All of it comes out of our own breeding pens. Pick the age that suits how much work you want to do, then choose a colour from the colors guide.

Sebastopol Geese

Mature curly-feathered birds, sold singly or as matched unrelated pairs. The shortest route to a laying flock: no brooder, no heat lamp, and you can see exactly what the feathering has done.

Juveniles

Past the gosling stage, off heat and fully feathered, with the curl already coming in. Hardier to ship than day-olds and less than a grown bird, which makes them the middle road most buyers want.

Goslings

Day-old baby Sebastopol geese, hatched here and shipped with warmth in mind. You will need a brooder ready before they land, but birds raised from day one are the tamest you will ever keep.

Hatching Eggs

Fertile eggs collected fresh and packed for transit. The cheapest way in if you have an incubator and the patience for thirty days of turning. No hatch rate can be guaranteed on eggs that have travelled.

Choose a Colour

Colour is picked on the colour page rather than bought as a separate bird. Here is what is in the pens now.

We are not running blue, lilac, splash at the moment. Those pages explain the colours and what we would suggest instead.

How Ordering Works

Tell us the age and the colour you want.

What is on the ground changes through the season, so ask rather than guess. If it is not available now we will tell you when it will be.

We confirm availability and a ship window.

Weather decides the date as much as the calendar. See shipping and your own state page.

Orders are filled in the order they come in.

If nothing is available in the colour you are after, ask to go on the list for the next hatch rather than settling.
