LimitedPast the gosling stage, off heat and fully feathered, with the curl already coming in. Hardier to ship than day-olds.
SeasonalDay-old baby Sebastopol geese, hatched here and shipped with warmth in mind. You will need a brooder ready before they land.
In seasonFertile eggs collected fresh and packed for transit. No hatch rate can be guaranteed on eggs that have travelled.
You are close. Birds leave Simsboro, Louisiana and reach Mississippi on an overnight service with the fewest transfers of anywhere we ship, which is the single biggest thing in a live bird's favour. For buyers within driving distance, farm collection by appointment is often simpler than shipping at all.
Summer heat closes the middle of the year. Autumn, winter and spring are all workable. We would rather hold a shipment by a fortnight than send a bird into conditions that are not safe for it, and heat is the greater danger of the two. Most buyers in Mississippi are around Jackson, which is worth telling us when you enquire so we can talk about a realistic window.
The general policy, including what to do if something goes wrong on arrival, is on the shipping and live arrival page.
Humid heat is the risk to manage. Shade and deep water are more important than any winter provision. The care guide covers housing, water and diet in full, and it applies wherever you are: dry shelter, shade, and water deep enough for a bird to submerge its whole head in.
States set their own requirements for incoming poultry and those requirements change. Buyers in Mississippi are responsible for confirming what the state currently asks for before ordering. We will not guess at another state's regulations, and you should be wary of any seller who does.
The same flock ships everywhere. See every bird we have photographed on the geese page, or pick by age: juveniles, goslings, or hatching eggs. Colours we are running are in the colours guide. If nothing is available in the colour you want, ask to go on the list for the next hatch rather than settling.
Buyers near the Mississippi line sometimes find a neighbouring state easier to receive into: Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas. All 48 are listed on the by state directory.
